Play Solitaire Using Deck of Cards
If you are interested in learning how to play Solitaire, the first thing that you should do is purchase a deck of cards and a few pencils or coins. You will be making your own game quite quickly if you have everything that you need at your disposal. You can easily learn how to play solitaire using just your deck of cards and a pencil by following the instruction in this Solitaire Playing Tips guide.
The first thing that you want to do is tear up the cards that you are going to be using for the game. This will give you a nice clean surface to play on. Be sure that you are using all of the deck to play with, so that all of the cards have a flat surface. It will be much easier to remember where you put the cards when you are using just a deck of cards. In addition to the cards, you will also need a piece of paper to place on the table to track what suits the cards that you are playing with.
In the beginning, you will want to lay out all of the cards from most common to rare. Lay out the rarest card first, then the middle two commons, then the most common cards that you have. You will be laying these cards out in order from ace to king. This is how you will determine the suits, which we will discuss later.
When you are ready to start playing, pick a playing partner and make a short card. Make sure that you have plenty of time to make a few more cards before you actually play. Then it is a simple matter of going through the deck one card at a time, matching up the appropriate face with its suit from the ace to king. Remember that winning all of the pairs is not as important as winning the game, so if you only have a single card left, you will probably want to end the game.
Once you have the basics down, you can think about how to advance your card position. If you have an ace, then you should try to follow your partner’s lead and make an ace plus. This will advance you up to the ten-card slot. However, if your partner plays an “e” you should stick to playing cards that are superior to theirs, or else you will just end up passing back and forth, never reaching the end of the deck.
Learning how to play solitaire can be quite simple. Just be patient and keep at it, learning one new strategy at a time. Soon enough, you will be able to handle any situation that comes your way. And who knows, you just might find yourself playing solitaire in the future, especially if you find that you love the challenge of doing puzzles.
