US Spies Paid a Russian $100000 for Alleged Material on Trump

US President Donald Trump attends a roundtable discussion in the White House in Washington DC US

The outlet reports that the CIA began meeting with the unidentified spy early previous year after he claimed to have cyberweapons stolen from the National Security Agency.

According to US and European intelligence officials cited in the report, the CIA was wary of the Trump information touted by the Russian-as the agency didn't want to become embroiled in a domestic political controversy.

The seller, who was not identified but had links to both cyber criminals and Russian intelligence, tantalized the U.S. spies with an offer of the NSA hacking tools that had been advertised for sale online by a shady group called the Shadow Brokers.

According to the newspaper, a part of the money - $100 thousand - was delivered in cash in a suitcase to one of the hotels in Berlin.

Higher provisions for stressed assets ate into the bank's bottomline even as interest income of the bank remained low. The capital adequacy ratio (CRAR) for the quarter was 11.55 percent as against 12.55 percent in the previous quarter.

The Times reports that American spies had their doubts about the Russian operative, who was known to have ties to Russian intelligence and cybercriminals, but made a decision to arrange a deal with him.

He actually tried to once, as he handed a short video clip showing a man talking to two women over to a Berlin-based American businessman who was communicating on behalf of the USA intelligence agents, but failed to verify it was actually the American President.

The man initially asked for $10 million in exchange for the information, but later changed it to $1 million.

No sound could be actually heard on it, which ultimately diminished its importance, although originally it was promised the video would show Trump hanging out with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel room back in 2013 - something Mr. President emphatically denied outright.

The Russian took the money but never turned anything over. In October and December he delivered documents he alleged contained information which implicated Trump's associates, but the Times reports that most of the information the documents included were already public knowledge.

NSA officials were not available out of regular business hours for comment.

The US intelligence officials said they cut off the deal because they were wary of being entangled in a Russian operation to create discord inside the US government. He reportedly displayed suspicious behavior like giving the organization already public information and data not about the NSA or Central Intelligence Agency hacking tools as was their stated priority but rather information related to the 2016 USA election. He claimed the information would link the president and his associates to Russian Federation. The Russian chose to leave.

Even though Lou Williams is no longer on the market, the Grizzlies apparently haven't been offered a first-round pick yet. Will he accept this? Instead, it's that awkward "uhhhh, want to come back?" kind of things.
