Modelling scandal young girl dies in China after 13 hour fashion show with no medical insurance

Soon before walking in the show where she collapsed, she had a high temperature. The girl's temperature soared as she was about the go on the catwalk, it has emerged.

The young model's mother says she was exhausted but refused to get help.

"Dzyuba had received 16 different jobs during her two months' stay in China", Zheng Yi tells The Global Times.

Vlada's distraught mother Oksana wept as she told NTV: "She was calling me, saying 'Mama, I am so exhausted".

Tests are being carried out as to the cause of death.

Legally, she was only supposed to work three hours a week while in China.

However, it's been reported her contract kept her doing longer hours and didn't provide medical insurance, which deterred the teen from going to hospital.

It's not uncommon for teens from Russian Federation and Siberia to be recruited by Chinese agencies, though Vlada's death has sparked concern over working conditions for young models.

She collapsed at a modeling event and died in the hospital.

Among these is the length of her employment hours, which could be more than eight hours a day, and how she could be in China without medical insurance.

According to The Siberian Times, she did not go to the hospital because she did not have medical insurance.

Moscow is set to demand an explanation over the conditions she was living in during her time working in Asia. Since the untimely demise of the young model, scrutiny has been placed on agencies who hire out budding stars t0 top fashion houses.

Dzyuba's Russian manager Dmitry Smirnov, who negotiated her Chinese assignment, has not commented on her death.
