McCain says no to GOP health care bill

Jimmy Kimmel Targets Trump In Brutal Round 3 of His Health Care Battle

McCain, who was a key vote against a similar bill that died in July, had complained earlier this week about complex health care measures being pushed through without the "regular order" of debate and amendment.

"But that has not been the case", he said in a statement on Friday.

"I would not sign Graham-Cassidy if it did not include coverage of pre-existing conditions".

This does not mean that Obamacare repeal is done and over, but accomplishing anything after the September 30th deadline will be hard for Republicans to accomplish. The Senate Finance Committee hearing is being held even though the measure's prospects are dim.

Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute, said Republican opponents are being "very short-sighted".

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, center, leaves a meeting with Senate Republicans Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, on Capitol Hill in Washington. He helped round up support for the proposal.

He's taken to Twitter to try to sway GOP Sen.

England vs West Indies, 3rd ODI
They shared a fourth-wicket stand of 132 as Root became the highest scorer in all formats in an English worldwide season. His innings of 102 in 57 balls consisted of 7 boundaries and 8 sixes with the last eight balls resulting in 42 Runs.

With Senator Rand Paul already a hard no - because the measure doesn't go far enough - all eyes turn to Susan Collins of ME and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.

Here's what Trump's tweeted about Paul: "I think he may find a way to get there for the good of the Party!" John McCain's announced opposition, but Kentucky critics continue to warn of the bill's possible effects on the commonwealth. The bill's sponsors as well as the President, are determined to find the votes after months of repeal efforts, and time is nearly up.

Kimmel has repeatedly spoken out against Republicans' attempts to repeal and replace Obamacare following the birth of his son, Billy, who underwent emergency open-heart surgery.

Trump's tweets did not end with Sen. According to health industry analysts, the bill would create chaos, as each state attempted to set up its own complex insurance market, and to do so with far less money available to help struggling people get coverage.

Murkowski and Walker have been in close touch during her deliberations over the bill.

But speaking to reporters in Maine, Collins said, "The numbers are all over the place depending on whose analysis you look at". "McCain has rightly noted", Brad Woodhouse, campaign director for Protect Our Care in Arizona, said in a statement.

Trump says the bill would be "great for Arizona" and he says McCain "let his best friend L.G. down!"

Minnesota Vikings vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This boost the outlook of Stefon Diggs , but with Case Keenum under center for the Vikings in Week 3, his upside will be limited. Not once did he fumble or throw an interception, unlike Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston , who tossed three picks on Sunday.

Please call and email U.S. Sens.

Sen. John McCain likely killed the Senate's final effort this year to repeal Obamacare.

The health care bill, dubbed the Graham-Cassidy health care bill after its sponsors Sen.

Already two GOP senators, Rand Paul of Kentucky and John McCain of Arizona, have said they would vote against the legislation, and if Collins, a ME moderate, were to join them, the bill would die.

"I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried", McCain said.

Public support for Graham-Cassidy. Rand Paul against it, Republicans can't afford any other defections from their ranks.

No clear victor as New Zealand election ends in stalemate
A tight outcome could weigh on the currency on Monday, as could results that foreshadow a change in government, analysts say. Nearly immediately Labour's "Let's do this" slogan was pilloried by National in "Let's tax this" attack ads.
