Jon Jones' 'B sample' confirms failed drug test

Jones' B sample confirms positive test for banned substance

However, it was revealed late in August that the newly crowned light heavyweight champion had failed another United States Doping Agency (USADA) drug test after testing positive for an in-competition sample.

The spokesperson went on to say that, "due process should occur before drawing any conclusions about this matter". One day later, Jones (23-1) reclaimed his UFC title by knocking out Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.

In what should be unsurprising, the California State Athletic Commission will be overturning the result of the UFC 214 main event.

Luke Bernardi, owner of Amped Nutrition, appeared on the "Holy Smokes MMA Podcast" to talk about Jones' use of the banned substance turinabol which failed a USADA test on July 28.

Jurgen Klopp wants Philippe Coutinho back 'as quickly as possible'
Senegal global Sadio Mane is likely to start for Liverpool after being sent off for his collision with Man City keeper Ederson. All those opponents are beatable and they should have additional motivation to win this first game against Sevilla at Anfield.

Bernardi said if Jones were to have taken turinabol, he would likely have taken a higher dosage if he used the banned substance once. Jones' bad-boy image actually appears to have made him more marketable for the UFC, which has a current dearth of pay-per-view stars.

The "B" sample confirmed the positive "A" sample findings, with Jones' future hanging in the balance.

The sample an athlete gives during a drug test is divided into two parts so that if the first sample tests positive, the second can be tested to "confirm" the first result.

The commission's decision leaves the UFC with one of its own to make. However, it's possible USADA will simply mirror CSAC's ruling.

Area colleges and universities nab spots on popular national ranking lists
In the national rankings, Hillsdale College is 71 on the list of best national liberal arts colleges , up from 83 a year ago. Luzerne County oldest college and newest university is in a six-way tie for 41 place with 63 overall points.

"We are all at a complete loss for words right now", Jones's manager Malki Kawa said in a statement to MMA Fighting. The 30-year-old's failed test stemmed from a urine sample taken after the weigh-in.

Jones would recapture the light heavyweight title with a third-round TKO victory over Cormier, which happened to be the first time "DC" was finished in his career.

Widely considered the greatest fighter of all time, Jones has endured a tumultuous three-year span.

If Jones is stripped, it remains unclear whether the title would be given back to Cormier.
