Charlottesville rally organizer speaks out against violence

- The man who police say drove a Dodge Charger into a crowd of protesters at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia - killing one woman and injuring dozens more - has been named Saturday night.

White supremacists have clashed with anti-Nazi group in the state of Virginia for the last two days.

The mayor of Charlottesville blamed the nation's intensifying political divisions for the violent clashes between white supremacist groups and counterprotesters that left three dead.

She says the attack was a reminder that evil still existed in the world but she remained confident Americans would be united. At least one was killed, with many others hospitalised.

President Trump condemned the violence, but appeared to blame all sides.

A 32-year-old woman died and 19 people were injured when a vehicle plowed into a group described by a witness as "anti-racist protesters" near the intersection of 4th and Water streets downtown, officials said. "You're talking about people who are saying that hate's not okay, kindness matters, and then they get killed for it", Detwiler said. Police said the helicopter was assisting law enforcement officers monitor the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville.

Global Stocks Poised for Weekly Declines

The protest held by the Alt-right, white supremacists was organized against the removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from the city's downtown area.

"We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregiousdisplay of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides". In response, a man from OH plowed down anti-white-supremacist protesters with his vehicle. Our message is plain and simple: "go home", McAuliffe told a news conference. The driver fled and was located and arrested moments later, police said.

Many protesters "express beliefs that directly contradict our community's values of diversity, inclusion and mutual respect", Teresa Sullivan, President of the University of Virginia, said in another statement released hours before the rally.

Iranian parliament approves anti-US bill
The parliament's majority voted for the bill, which was a response to the USA new sanctions against the Islamic Republic. Iran's parliament approved the first step of a bill to boost Tehran's missile program spending, on Sunday.
