Arsenal vs Leicester City

Arsene Wenger is relieved Olivier Giroud opted to stay at Arsenal this summer after the striker scored the victor in Friday's Premier League opener against Leicester.

The Gunners handed record signing Alexandre Lacazette his Premier League debut and it took only two minutes for the striker to get his first goal. Cech was unconvincing for Leicester's 2nd goal after he hesitated to come out to meet Marc Albrighton's cross, which Vardy converted to make it 1-2. While Lacazette has started with an impressive performance in the Community Shield match, Kolasinac went a step further to score the all-important equaliser leading to the Arsenal win in the Community Shield.

"He doesn't want to leave and I'm happy that he wants to stay".

A insane game sees Arsenal winning 4-3 over Leicester City.

Derek Jeter's Group Buying Marlins For $1.2 Billion
The Sherman-Jeter group signed their deal for $1.2 billion to buy the team from Jeffrey Loria Friday night, as FanRag reported. They'll discuss the Marlins next week in Chicago at a meeting but aren't likely to vote on the matter for another few weeks.

"Lacazette is simple - in every game he's stronger since he joined us", said Wenger, who had seen his side lose at home in three of their previous four opening league fixtures.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has urged one of his players to follow in the footsteps of former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

That goal should have been the one that woke Arsenal up and given them the need to take control and run away with the game, but, instead, it was Vardy who struck again to give Leicester the lead back in this back-and-forth game.

Jamie struct again in the 56th minute to make 3-2 for The Foxes before Aaron Ramsey's 83rd and Giroud's 85th minutes goals prove decisive at the Emirates Stadium.

Why Manchester City are favorites to win the Premier League
We are here to win the games and titles. "We spoke and I saw last season how tough is this league". The pressure it's never a big problem.

"The first goal was from a short corner and we were not focused enough".

"Of course you can not afford to concede three goals at home".

"At some stage, I had to tell them, 'Look guys, I am with you, but we have to win games", revealed the Frenchman to UK's Daily Mail yesterday. We had a lot of experienced defenders out injured for the game.

But Wenger said there was now no chance of Giroud leaving before the transfer deadline closes later this month after the player had resolved to fight for his place in the first team at the Emirates Stadium.

Money no object for City, but Guardiola must deliver
The club has everything in its favour to grow further if it can build on what has already been achieved. The midfield playmaker has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury last December.

Arsenal are now unbeaten in 22 Premier League games against Leicester City - winning 15 and drawing seven - and they have won 11 successive Premier League home games against the Foxes.
