Anthony Scaramucci: Trump needed to be 'much harsher' to white supremacy

When asked by Stephanopoulos if that influence stemmed from Bannon, Scaramucci said, "I think the president knows what he's going to do with Steve Bannon".

"That whole thing is nonsensical".

Scaramucci, whose turn on the communications team lasted for less than two weeks, said in an interview with ABC News' This Week the president needed to get "more loyalists in" to protect his position.

Scaramucci decried what he called the "Bannon-Bart" influence at the White House, labelling it "nonsense".

Keith Ellison: 'Irresponsible' Trump could bring about first strike by North Korea
Britain, America's top European ally, could formally refuse Donald Trump's call for help in waging war against North Korea, so long as Kim Jong-un does not strike Hawaii or the USA mainland.

And McMaster delivered another vague reply, "I believe anyone that works in the White House who has the privilege, the great privilege every day, of serving their nation should be motivated by that goal".

When discussing the influences that he thinks are impacting Trump, Scaramucci urged the president to take a more mainstream approach in order to sell his agenda.

President Trump heaped praise on his new chief of staff John Kelly Friday, revealing his personal title for the former Homeland Security secretary.

"You didn't answer. Can you and Steve Bannon work in that same White House?" Before his sudden departure, Scaramucci managed to drive White House spokesman Sean Spicer out of his job and helped get Reince Priebus sacked as Trump's chief of staff.

Scaramucci's remarks came a day after a rally in Virginia turned violent, as clashes broke out between white nationalists and counterprotesters. "Whether it's domestic or worldwide terrorism, with the moral authority of the presidency, you have to call that stuff out".

While President Donald Trump's national security adviser Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster and the National Security Council are trying to provide guidance about North Korea, they are also facing attacks from outside and from within the White House.

"If you are on the McMaster side, you do not like this memo because you read it and you say, 'Hey is he talking about me?"
