J&K Stone-pelters help Zakir Musa escape security forces

Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted Friday in Noorpora area of Tral in south Kashmir's Pulwama district, sources said.

Reports said that the villagers poured out of their homes and pelted stones after security forces cordoned off the village of Zakir Musa.

Good day and reasons to call 811 before digging
There is no charge for 811 to homeowners or excavators to provide utility line location services. Any project that includes digging or excavation should be preceded by an 811 call.

There were unconfirmed reports that Zakir Musa, a former Hizbul Mujahideen commander, could be in the area.

According to reports, people took to streets to stage protests as the operation was launched.

Led airstrike kills 16 civilians in eastern Afghanistan
But the Taliban denied involvement, saying official claims implicating the group were "baseless propaganda" against it. Faryab province, with Maimana as its capital, has been the scene of Taliban-led insurgency over the past decade.

However, the stone pelting stopped after few hours and there was no firing from the house where Zakir Musa and his aide was reportedly holed-up. He had formerly led the Hizbul Mujahideen. He had recently exited HM following a controversy over his statement that he was not confining his fight for Kashmir cause but for the Caliphate. Musa fell out with Hizbul Mujahideen on May 14, after threatening to publicly behead Hurriyat leaders, who insist that the movement is Kashmir is "political".

Musa was made the head of Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, the Al-Qaeda cell in Kashmir, in June this year.
