Federal scientists' report says climate change is dangerously real

GETTYHurricane season is upon

Meanwhile, the world's alpine glaciers retreated for the 37th straight year, according to the report, while springtime snow cover dipped to new lows in many parts of the world.

But it's not a gauntlet laid down by outside scientists or activists.

Though it may be the case that certain scientists maintain such fears, that's a pretty tough position in light of the fact that the report "was uploaded by the nonprofit Internet Archive in January" and publicized by the New York Times in August.

We hold our future in our hands, as the report makes clear: "Choices made today will determine the magnitude of climate change risks beyond the next few decades".

VW, Tata end cooperation on small cars, new mobility
VW commissioned Skoda to lead the talks and explore a possible entry-level auto platform using Tata's AMP vehicle platform. Suzuki and its Indian partner Maruti hold a almost 50 pc share of the Indian market.

The draft science report, echoing numerous previous scientific reports, precisely calculates the energy causing climate change since the industrial age. "Again, we just didn't know".

That report is a special section of the National Climate Assessment and is published every four years. Average land surface temperatures in the Arctic are now 6.3 degrees warmer than in 1900, the report said.

"The final draft is now being reviewed by the administration", Hayhoe said. "The reporter just didn't know and the editors didn't know and once it was brought to our attention, we sorted it out" and ran a correction. "Those conclusions are drawn in a separate draft portion of the National Climate Assessment highlighted by The New York Times earlier this week".

"Evidence of a changing climate abounds, from the top of the atmosphere to the depths of the oceans", scientists write, who also note that "[many] lines of evidence demonstrate that human activities, especially emissions of greenhouse (heat-trapping) gases, are primarily responsible for recent observed climate change". One-third of the sea level rise since 1880 has occurred since 1990, and coastal communities from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic are at increasing risk of routine flooding, saltwater intrusion into the drinking water supply and the collapse of roads, utilities and other vital infrastructure. "The huge flood along the Front Range in the Denver-Boulder area in 2013 has now been confirmed to have the rainfall increased by 30 percent due to human-induced climate change".

PayPal acquires Swift Financial to expand small business lending
Since 1988, the Zacks system has more than doubled the S&P 500 with an average gain of +25% per year. As it usually happens with such deals, the financial terms have not been disclosed.

The leak of the draft report comes amid an unprecedented streak of rapidly rising global temperatures.

Upon the report's release, commentators were quick to ask pointed questions about whether Trump-who has called climate change a "hoax"-or members of his administration would even so much as acknowledge the results, let alone do anything about them".

However, the annual report does not detail the link between climate change and human activities such as burning coal or gasoline. Carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide, all drivers of atmospheric warming, recorded new highs past year, with carbon dioxide surpassing a milestone 400 parts per million for the first time in recent history.

Neither the draft reports nor the final National Climate Assessment itself are scientific documents; they are products of government-subsidized and employed scientists, bureaucrats and political operatives who all have powerful professional reasons to push the overarching global warming narrative that the Earth's temperature is soaring due to human-sourced Carbon dioxide emissions. Heat waves can destroy crops, cause power outages, and they are unsafe for your health.
