Federal report sees human-caused changes to California's climate

NY Times forced to make embarrassing correction after false claim in Trump hit piece

2016 is confirmed as hottest year on record according to new @NOAA report.

This annual check-up for the planet, led by researchers from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Centers for Environmental Information, is based on contributions from more than 450 scientists from almost 60 countries. The paper has an entire propaganda section devoted to articles about climate change; the headlines usually include something like, "Hottest Ever!"

South America witnessed devastating drought, the Pacific Ocean saw its earliest hurricane on record, and 93 big storms hit the tropics, with the USA logging its most storms since 2008. Global warmth records have been kept for the past 136 years. The report listed the state as among the nation's hardest hit by wildfire in 2016, while issuing a broader warning for the future that rising temperatures would mean less snowfall and tighter water supplies in mountain regions.

"Drought in 2016 was among the most extensive in the post-1950 record", said the report.

The patch is part of the NBA's three-year pilot program that allows teams to sell an advertiser's logo on their jerseys. The new wearables will be available for fans to purchase September 29 at the Timberwolves Team Store at Target Center.

"That had led scientists to suggest that changes in the Gulf Stream might account for some of the rapid variations in sea level", the NYT article states.

"Every increment in warming is an increment in risk", said Field, who wasn't part of the report but reviewed it for The National Academy of Sciences.

As Michael Bastasch of the Daily Caller reported, there was no effort to stifle it at all, despite the Times quoting anonymous scientists saying "they fear that the Trump administration could change or suppress the report".

Mr Trump has previously dismissed climate change as "a hoax". This month, he formally notified the United Nations that the US will withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, reneging on the nation's commitment to reducing heat-trapping pollutants.

VW, Tata end cooperation on small cars, new mobility
VW commissioned Skoda to lead the talks and explore a possible entry-level auto platform using Tata's AMP vehicle platform. Suzuki and its Indian partner Maruti hold a almost 50 pc share of the Indian market.

"The last few years have. seen record-breaking, climate-related, weather extremes, as well as the warmest years on record for the globe".

The spike was greatest in the Arctic, where temperatures were 2.6 degrees above the 1981-2010 average and 3.6 degrees higher than they were in 1900.

Glacier mass balance - the difference between ice lost through melting and ice gained through new snowfall - each year since 1980 (blue bars) for the 44 glaciers in the World Glacier Monitoring Service's reference network. In the U.S., the authors believe that average annual temperatures will continue to rise and make the years in which record high temperatures are "relatively common" in the near future.

Even if people stopped emitting greenhouse gasses today, the earth's average temperature would continue to rise another 0.3Âș Celsius by 2100. The authors found it "extremely likely" that most of the warming since 1951 was caused by humans, and that even if emissions were to cease, existing levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere would cause temperatures to increase at least a half-degree Fahrenheit over this century. Almost three-quarters of that human caused warming is from carbon dioxide, the Nobel Prize winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change said, citing "very high" confidence levels.

Since 1988, the Zacks system has more than doubled the S&P 500 with an average gain of +25% per year. As it usually happens with such deals, the financial terms have not been disclosed.

The report said 2016 was the sixth consecutive year in which the global sea level increased compared with the previous year. "But 2017 has not shown any dramatic reversal of course".
