UK's fragile government faces challenge over austerity

British Prime Minister Theresa May leaves 10 Downing Street in London to attend Prime Minister's Questions at the Houses of Parliament Wednesday

Britain's opposition Labour Party will force a vote in parliament on Wednesday over a pay cap for public sector employees, the first test of whether Prime Minister Theresa May can muster enough lawmakers to rule. Anyone without their head in the sand would see this sort of comment as a bit counterproductive considering so many in the United Kingdom have been living in unsafe homes and we have faced numerous security threats - with a former security chief saying police cuts have made us more vulnerable.

May rejected Corbyn's argument, saying towers had begun to be clad in unsuitable insulation and panels before the Conservatives re-entered government in 2010, and that a Labour administration was first to relax housing inspection rules.

Corbyn launched a furious diatribe from across the aisle, blaming austerity measures for a decline in public safety in recent years.

The election left the Conservatives several votes short of a parliamentary majority and severely undermined the authority of Prime Minister Theresa May, who called the snap vote in a misjudged attempt to increase her grip on power. "I said to him, 'When are you going to be Prime Minister?'". "Fewer building inspectors, fewer planning inspectors - we all pay a price. those cuts to the fire service have meant that there are 11,000 fewer firefighters".

The embattled Prime Minister was quizzed about fire safety, exterior cladding and public sector cuts in the opening minutes of PMQs.

During a February radio interview , Dolan said he planned to honor his five-year contract with Jackson "all the way to the end". Rose's injuries in the past could be reasons why he has a lower value than other free agent playmakers this 2017.

"What the tragedy of Grenfell Tower has exposed is the disastrous effect of austerity", he added, to jeers from the Conservatives.

May responded by outlining what she said was the longer-term political background to the cladding issue. Rather, she questioned why building inspectors had failed to detect the risky cladding at Grenfell Tower.

Speaking on Tuesday, he said: "What we're doing is asking for an end to the cuts in the fire service, the ambulance service and the police, and that the government should stop that and should invest more in them". The following year, rules were relaxed and the responsibility passed to councils. "Cuts to vital public services must be halted right across the United Kingdom, not just in Northern Ireland". She said we should "all come together" to find answers.

The Fire Brigades Union said the Government should back the amendment if it is "serious about addressing all aspects" of the Grenfell Tower disaster.

She also announced that a total of 120 tower blocks across 37 local areas in England have so far failed fire safety tests and have combustible cladding.

Iraqi military pushes deeper into Mosul's Old City
A US-led global coalition is providing air and ground support in the eight-month-old offensive. Security forces blocked their attempted fight-back, al-Saadi said.

"Now with things like this year's Glastonbury, it's becoming ever more blatant", the MP for North West Leicestershire continued.

"We never knew for sure it would happen, but he was down to speak to the RMT".

Given this, May said, the public inquiry would need to "look much more widely at the problem".

"Mrs. May called the election so not to have a coalition of chaos, but that is exactly what we have got, they don't seem to have come to an agreement with the DUP two weeks after the election", Corbyn told the Daily Mirror.
