Isolated US lashes out at climate critics

"As a signatory of Business Backs Low-Carbon USA and a member of BICEP since 2009, we power our headquarters with 100 percent renewable electricity, offset 100 percent of our emissions, and will continue to do our part, in our own operations and beyond, to realize the Paris Agreement's commitment to a global economy that limits global temperature rise".

Lori Robertson, managing editor of FactCheck.org which is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Centre, said there was nothing in the Paris agreement that stipulates which countries can and cannot build coal plants.

He said under the Paris deal, developed countries agreed to set economy-wide reductions in greenhouse gas emissions while developing countries "should continue enhancing their mitigation efforts" with the aim of achieving economy-wide absolute reductions eventually.

A night of terror in London
Without referring explicitly to London , Trump wrote on his personal account: "We need to be smart, vigilant and tough". He said he managed to get near one attacker "and I hit him around the head" with a bread basket.

Tillerson had reportedly been among the advisors encouraging Trump to remain in the deal, arguing that staying in was good for USA business while leaving would isolate the United States internationally. And, as much as possible, we'll relate what else was going on at the time.

Pruitt added that Trump has "indicated that climate changes".

And Peter Sachs, GM of Lowa, didn't mince words when speaking abut Trump's latest controversial decision.

Former Lakers player Derek Fisher accused of DUI after crash
However, once officers arrived to the scene, they determined Fisher had been drinking and arrested him on suspicion of DUI. Fisher, 42, won five National Basketball Association championships with the Los Angeles Lakers during his playing career.

The "March for Truth" in Pittsburgh comes one day after Mayor Bill Peduto issued an executive order saying the City commits itself to the Paris Climate Accord. Pruitt said during a press briefing.

However he was dismissive of European leaders' concerns, insisting their goal in opposing a new deal was to damage the USA economy.

If the U.S. completes the withdrawal process from the climate deal, it will join Nicaragua and Syria - the only other countries who have not signed the agreement. I think they applauded because they knew it would put this country at a disadvantage. The European leaders, why do they want us to stay in?

Jose Mourinho overjoyed after Man United's emotional Europa League win
We weren't good enough. "You spend that kind of money to make a difference in the big games". We went behind to a deflected shot and then it was very hard against such a side.

The withdrawal would leave the USA more or less alone internationally, with just Syria and Nicaragua also not party to the agreement.
