Corbyn says UK's May should quit as rivals clash over terror

With the general election only three days away, Mr. Corbyn said he would like to see Mrs.

Campaigning in the northern town of Middlesbrough, Mr Corbyn called on Mrs May to resign as prime minister for presiding over cuts in police numbers while she was home secretary.

In the wake of three terror attacks in three months, the Labour leader attacked Mrs May over Government cuts which has left the police with 20,000 fewer officers than in 2010.

"We have protected counter-terrorism policing budgets, we have also provided funding for an increase in the number of armed police officers and since 2015 we have protected overall police budgets - and that's despite the fact that Jeremy Corbyn's Labour party in the House of Commons suggested that police budgets could be cut", she said.

Moreover, the media should know that players tend to answer questions better when they're in a comfortable setting. But after being so close previous year and falling short, the Warriors know how hard the next two will be.

Dowd said May was "useless" as Home Secretary and backed his leader's calls for the Prime Minister to quit, suggesting she had ignored repeated warnings about the consequences of police staff cuts due to her arrogance.

The comments come after three terror attacks in the United Kingdom within three months and allegations that cuts to police numbers of 20,000 during May's time as home secretary made the country more vulnerable to terrorism.

"We've got an election on Thursday and that's perhaps the best opportunity to deal with this".

'It's also very important to have a message of bringing communities together and that is something I always give very strongly at all of my events'.

He said that she is "responsible for security failures of London Bridge, Manchester, Westminster Bridge" and that she should not be seeking re-election.

When May was asked by reporters on Monday whether she regretted cutting police numbers during her time in the job, she said counterterrorism budgets had been protected and that police had been given the powers they need.

In her speech, Mrs May insisted that Brexit "remains the most critical issue in this campaign" and "the question of leadership" was at the heart of the contest.
