Sen. John McCain: Putin the 'most important threat, more so than ISIS'

Such was the case during an interview in Australia, when McCain declared that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a more unsafe threat to the security of the world than ISIS.

"I view the Russians as the far greatest challenge that we have", McCain said.

He has told the ABC he views President Putin as the most important threat, more so than Islamic State.

According to him, the militants "can do awful things", but "that Russian was the one who tried to destroy the basic principles of democracy, and this would change the results of elections in the United States".

"I think ISIS can do awful things".

But Roland-Jones bagged a maiden global wicket when Amla dragged a pull on to his stumps to end an opening stand of 95. The horror outing could have been worst if Jonny Bairstow wouldn't have chipped in with a gritty fifty.

Mr McCain criticised US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, a top White House advisor, over reports he sought a secret communications channel with Russian Federation, describing the situation as "more and more and more bizarre".

When asked about the reports that Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner sought to set up back-channel communications with Russian Federation about Syria and other policy matters, McCain said, "I don't like it".

It is the latest in a long line of reports about links between members of Trump's administration and representatives from Putin's government.

Putin has denied any notions of Russian meddling in the USA election, responding, "Read my lips - "no", when asked if he had any involvement. "I don't think it is standard procedure prior to the inauguration of a president of the United States by someone who is not in an appointed position".

McCain maintained the US needed to impose sanctions against Russian Federation for meddling in the presidential election.

Inter Milan chief confirms Man United interest in Ivan Perisic
United's low opening offer has left room for Chelsea to swoop in for the 28-year-old, who is under contract until 2020. Inter's sporting director, Pierro Ausillo , told Mediaset that there " certainly is interest " from United in Perišić.

'So, way to go Vladimir.

His comments come as German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the United States was no longer a reliable partner for her nation or Europe.

McCain is chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee and a leading foreign policy voice in the U.S. Congress. I mean, this becomes more and more weird.

"Thank you for your very strong words of support for the alliance earlier this year", Bishop told McCain. And yes, does it bothers me?

But he said China could "restrain North Korean behaviour".
